Suzanne's Tip of the Week - Tip your sewing machine!
 |
Does your back, shoulder or neck ache from bending over the sewing machine to see what you are sewing? Here is a suggestion for sewers whose machines sit on tables that are sometimes too high. Try tilting your machine towards you. Purchase 2 rubber door stoppers. Insert them on the back side of your machine to tilt your machine towards you. Now sit back and relax as you sew. Having the machine tilted takes a little getting use to; you feel like you are sewing uphill. In a little while you will probably find it more comfortable.
