Cherishing Quilts of the Past & Inspiring Quilters of Today!

Stars for a Cause

Posted by sqadmin

On January 31, 2009, customers of Suzanne's Quilt Shop came together to make quilts for wounded soldiers. Red, white and blue strips were already cut when they arrived and the group of 13 quilters were eagar to tackle the task. The pattern was the ever popular Quilt In a Day method of log cabin. Five completed tops were made and a sixth one in progress. The quilts are being quilted by two of the long arm quilters in the area. Once finished the quilts will be sent to Quilt of Valor to distribute. To learn more how you can particpate in making Quilts of Valor go to http://www.qovf.org

We thank our military men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe and free.
